Checks:

While we do accept cashier's checks (certified bank checks/official bank checks), & international money orders, we strongly recommend against using them because of the long waiting period and the possibility that the item ordered will fall out of stock by the time the check clears. Checks require a waiting period of 14 days from the date we receive the check before your order is shipped. To order by check, follow the instructions on the "Secure Payment Information" page while ordering on-line, and send your cashier's check or money order to:

Shipping Information

We ship all our merchandise directly from Korea through the Korean Postal Service. Orders will arrive in your country by your government postal service. Shipping costs are $2.50 per pound.

To determine the shipping cost of an item, click on the "" button for that item, then select either "Standard Domestic Shipping" (regular airmail and international airmail), or "Express Domestic Shipping" (express mail and international express mail) from the "Shipping Method" menu on the shopping cart page.

Credit card orders are usually shipped within 24 hours but may be shipped within 48 hours if the order arrives on a Korean postal holiday. Orders received after 10am Fridays will be shipped the following business day - Monday.

These shipping times are estimates. Please do not cut the shipping times too close. Neither the Korean nor other countries' postal services are infallible. There may be unexpected delays. Please allow some extra time for un-foreseen delays.

EMS (Express Mail Service)

Approximate shipping times to the following regions are: North America (3-5 days), Europe (4-6 days), within Asia (2-4 days). EMS shipping is an additional $18 per order over standard international airmail shipping and is more economical for large orders where the additional $18 shipping charges are not a significant part of the total cost, or, where time is a priority. Parcel tracking is available for EMS shipping. Please note, 3-5 days is the shipping time, and the amount of time your order will take once it is shipped. Orders are shipped within 24-48 hours except for orders received after Friday at 10AM which will be shipped the following Monday).EMS is not available to Guam.

International (regular airmail shipping)

We ship to any of the following countries by Air Parcel Service (regular Korean air mail service). Shipments take approximately 7-12 days to North America, 10-14 days to Europe, and 5-10 days within Asia. Parcel tracking is not available for International airmail shipping under 1.7kg. (3.74lbs). Real-time tracking is not available for International (regular airmail shipping) once the item leaves the Korean postal system. See the list below for possible customs fees, and contact your local postal service for details.

Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belgium, Bhutan, Croatia, Canada, Cyprus, Czech, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Georgia, Germany (5% customs and 16% VAT fees may be applied), Greece, Hungary, Iceland, India, Iran, Iraq, Ireland, Israel, Italy (standard express shipping is not available - premium express shipping is available for $32), Jordan, Kuwait, Latvia, Luxembourg, Macedonia, Maldives, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Nepal, Oman, Pakistan, Papua New Guinea, Poland, Portugal, Qatar, Romania, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Slovenia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Sweden, Switzerland (customs duties or VAT may apply), Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, U.S.A. Ukraine, Yemen, Yugoslavia.

We ship to the following countries in Asia by Air Parcel Service (regular Korean air mail service). Shipments take approximately 5-10 days within East Asia and 7-12 days to South East Asia.

Bangladesh, Brunei, Cambodia, China, Darussalam, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Lao, Macao, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan, Thailand, Viet Nam.

Surface shipping

We now offer surface shipping to North America, Europe (5-8 weeks), and within Asia (3-5 weeks) for about a 33% savings over the price of airmail shipping. Generally this service is advisable only for extremely large orders with correspondingly large shipping charges, and where delivery time is not a concern. Customs and VAT fees

Although most countries do not apply customs or VAT to handmade art, on some occasions, they are applied by certain countries. Please see the list of countries above for details about a particular country.

Return Policy

For orders that do not arrive in perfect condition write us at (Korean-Arts' contact information) within14 days of receiving your purchase,  describe your purchase and the condition it arrived in, and include your order number, date of order, and the name of the purchaser. We will send you a return ticket number, and send you a replacement item at no cost to you. Do not send your damaged item back to us without first emailing us and obtaining a return ticket number.
